Why Peer2Peer Education?

Creativity and Collaboration

Shared experience and creative collaboration are the basis of our model.  We work with professional designers and illustrators to bring our work to life.

Peer Education

We believe in the power of people sharing scientific, evidence-based health care information with each other. Learning together is the heart of Peer2Peer education models all over the world, and we encourage our partners to use this model in practice.

Trauma-Informed

We believe in evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to understanding healthcare, community and education experiences, access, and outcomes. We acknowledge the history of trauma and the impact of trauma on healthcare access and experiences, both historically and currently.

We work respectfully  with and alongside communities who have experienced torture, trauma, abuse, and neglect in their life. We acknowledge the impact that access to material and financial resources has on health and education across the lifespan globally, and support equity, access and inclusion for all.
